Fave Films

Really hard one this. I've had to catagorise to have any chance of being happy with the results:

Serious

• Das Boot - German War film (its better than it sounds)
• Scum - English film about a youth prison (all happy stuff)
• Long Good Friday - English gangster film

Funnies

• Withnail & I
• This is Spinal Tap
• Monty Python Life of Brian/Holy Grail (delete as appropriate)

Sentimental

• Stand By Me (Just such a great film. I feel 11 years old again)
• ..................eh that's it, not big on sentimental films

I've seen some excellent Spanish films recently as well particularly 'El Lobo'.

Ps. I can only watch films in their original language, better subtitled than dubbed for me.
